Sonatromba (9' ACA) a 3-movement sonatina for Bb trumpet and piano. |

Time Shares (8'15" ACA) a mini-concerto for 3 solo trumpets and one or two trumpet quartets. Played at the 2011 ITG Conference in Minneapolis by Tromba Mundi ("outstanding" as reviewed in the ITG daily report), who commissioned it.

Recollections (5'40" ACA) for trumpet quintet. Commissioned and recorded by Tromba Mundi. The title has two connotations. The first is the common language meaning: after the very beginning, everything that happens recalls something that has already happened. The second is a pun, more appropriately spelled "re-collections," since as the piece unfolds, the collections of musical elements ― instrumental couplings as well as melodic fragments and harmonies ― are constantly being redistributed and reinterpreted.

(3', ACA) navigates unsettling harmonic terrain with a determined motive built on the substance of its surroundings. Its title pays homage to Aaron Copland’s 1942 classic, Fanfare for the Common Man. |
